Calltura

Built by two, for the trades.

Calltura is a two-person company building one product: an AI receptionist that small UK trade businesses can actually afford. No call-center upsells, no enterprise lock-in, no contracts.

What we are not
  • ·A US incumbent localising for the UK
  • ·A funded SaaS team chasing enterprise contracts
  • ·An agency dressing up Vapi / Synthflow templates
  • ·Faceless. We're Anas + Daniyal — you have our numbers.

The phone is still where work happens for UK trades.

Talk to any UK heating engineer and you'll hear the same thing: they're on tools all day, the phone rings out, they get home to 12 missed calls. Most of those callers booked someone else by then. The £180 average job walked next door.

The existing options are: voicemail (80% don't leave one), the engineer's spouse (relationship friction), or a human answering service at £235-500/month who doesn't know what a CP12 is.

We're building the option in between: an AI receptionist that costs less than a single boiler service, knows the trade lingo, and is honest about being AI. That's it. That's the whole company.

Daniyal

Talks to every customer.

Handles cold outreach, onboarding, and customer success — personally, for every account. Believes in the “message back within an hour” rule, even on Saturdays.

If you sign up for a trial, you'll get a WhatsApp from him to walk through your setup. He'll ask about your trade, your patch, your typical calls. The agent gets trained from that conversation.

A short, honest timeline.

2026 · Spring

Idea

Anas was running an anchor client with a Pakistani real-estate firm. They kept asking for after-hours coverage. We saw the same gap in UK trades — phone goes to voicemail, customer calls the next listing.
2026 · June

First prototype

9-day prototype sprint. ONE FastAPI backend serving multiple industries via DB-stored prompts. Per-client deployments via cloning when paying customers land.
2026 · Summer

First UK customers

Daniyal handling cold outreach to UK heating engineers and plumbers. Target: 1-2 paying clients by August.
2027

5-10 clients · SaaS conversion begins

Once we've signed enough customers to know what they all need, we'll productise the common offering. Pricing stays honest, contracts stay short.

Five principles, no slogans.

Principle 01

Honest by default

We say the AI is an AI when asked. We publish pricing in £. We don't gate trials behind a credit card.

Principle 02

Founders, not funnels

You can ring either founder directly. Replies within an hour, even Saturday. No ticket queues.

Principle 03

One segment, deep

UK plumbing, heating, gas trades. We don't sell to law firms. We don't sell to dentists. We sell to engineers.

Principle 04

Build, then sell

The product has to be real before we ask anyone to pay. We don't take pre-orders for vapourware.

Principle 05

Customers, not contracts

No 12-month lock-in. Cancel anytime. Port your number back. We earn the renewal each month.

Principle 06

Boring tech

Tried-and-tested stack: LiveKit, Gemini Live, FastAPI, Supabase, Vercel, Oracle Cloud. No magic, no hype.
